Offers and Acceptances. We hope to send team offers the week after tryouts. Within a short period of time after receiving an offer, Alliance will require an acceptance and a $100 non-refundable deposit. The deposit will go toward the balance of the team fee.
Fees. The balance of the team fee can be paid when you accept a team offer (if your child makes a team), but it is not required at the time of acceptance. The balance will be due during registration at the beginning of June. In some circumstances, Alliance will offer a payment plan paid by credit card. Team fees, these amounts include the $100 deposit – thus subtract $100 from these amounts for the balance due after payment of the deposit: (1) $680 for non-high school teams (birth year 2004 and younger); and (2) $580 for the high school teams.
The fee is for one full year of Alliance team play, including: (1) August pre-season training; (2) Fall outdoor practice and games; (3) winter indoor practice and games; (4) spring outdoor practice and games; and (5) one tournament.
Teams. Teams are constructed based on birth year, as required by US Soccer and US Club Soccer. Some exceptions are made based on a player’s skill and development and team dynamic. For a listing of this year’s current teams visit here.
June Clinics. Several weeks of June clinics at Oak Park parks will be offered for Alliance players, included in team fee. One week of June clinics will be offered for High School Alliance players, included in team fee. Registration is Required.
Summer Scrimmages. The club offers weekly summer scrimmages throughout the summer at Oak Park clubs. Included in fee.
Practices. Teams practice generally, 2 times a week in the fall, 1 time a week in the winter, and 2 times a week in the spring. There are some exceptions to this and some teams may offer more than this minimum. There will be club wide goalie clinics.
Fall and Spring outdoor practices will take place locally. Winter indoor practices will take place nearby – for example Berwyn, Hillside, and Oak Park.
Games. Fall and spring outdoor games take place locally in Oak Park, River Forest, Melrose Park, Berwyn, and Cicero (half of all games) and the away games will take place generally in the Chicago metro area. Occasionally there are games near Rockford or Kankakee, but these games are not the norm. The majority of the “away” games are in the Chicago area.
Tournament. The majority of the tournaments are in the Chicago area. However, 2003 teams and older will do College Show case tournaments.
